The sun was beaming and the water crashing into the coast. As I walked around Sanibel Island and took in all it’s beauty, it truly was a perfect evening to celebrate Skylar and Nick.

From the time Skylar reached out to me on Instagram to talk about being husky moms, our friendship immediately started to grow. I remember her telling me how important it was to them to find a photographer that was more than just another vendor to them and wanted to have a real connection with them. It was a perfect fit from the start!

Of course in true #AKCouple form, their pup Maui came along for their session. Their engagement session was filled with so much laughter and playfulness. It really showed how laughter is at the center of their relationship, along with kindness, and love.
