The air was brisk that Saturday morning as I headed into Tampa Bay for Lauren & Josh’s wedding. They weren’t new to chilly weather, their engagement session was equally as cold. Lauren had been counting down the days to marry Josh and the cooler temperature wasn’t going to get in the way of having the most amazing wedding day.
I remember talking to Lauren after their ceremony as we were walking to another location for their sunset portraits. She told me that driving to the venue she started to get super nervous. That while she was waiting to see Josh before the first look she became very anxious. She was so incredibly thankful for that moment together because as soon as she saw him, her nerves were calmed and that anxiousness turned into pure joy and excitement to marry her best friend.
Who would have guessed that a random day at Publix in the check out line, a friendship would start to blossom and turn into marrying the love of your life.
These two are everything that I could have asked for when they joined my #AKCouple family. Besides being husky parents (Yay! lol), they are kind and caring. They support each other in their dreams and goals. The way that Lauren’s face glows up when she sees Josh, or the way that Josh’s eyes all of a sudden have a sense of home when he sees her, it is something truly special.

I can’t believe that I just witnessed your wedding day, what an honor!! I look forward to watching you guys as you continue to grow through this new chapter of marriage together. I know that whatever life will throw at you, you guys will conquer it together. Let’s have a wine date soon!! xoxo
