It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in Starbucks with Taylor & Anesu meeting them for the first time. They were sharing about how they met and some of their favorite things that they loved to do with each other. I’m obsessed with proposal stories so obviously I begged Anesu to tell me how he proposed lol. Anesu planned this most amazing surprise proposal at their favorite park that they loved to go to. To his surprise, Taylor had already beaten him to the location. YEP! Unplanned he showed up to the park to set up and she was already there enjoying a day to herself, just taking in nature and some quiet time. So he hid from her patiently waiting for her to leave, which she didn’t till almost sunset! Don’t worry though she never saw him and everything went as perfectly as God intended it to.

Their wedding day was a dream. Everything that they could have imagined it to be and more. Taylor & Anesu wanted to do a first touch instead of a first look. As I went into the bridal suite to grab Taylor to take her to the first touch, she looked at me with a smile on her face and took a big breath. I could feel how nervous she was. She kept asking me if he was already outside waiting for her, and I told her yes he is so excited! As we starting walking towards the location we both made eye contact and just smiled at each other. It was like at that time it both just hit us that she was about to get everything she ever prayed for and dreamed of, she was marrying her best friend today.

Both families gathered together for the first time in a long time all to celebrate Taylor & Anesu’s love story. The night was filled with laughter and lots of dancing! Bringing two very different cultures together that aren’t really that different at all. You see, they are both there to celebrate a deep love connection and the most amazing bond that they know is going to be one that lasts forever.

Gahh you guys are married!!! How did I get so amazingly blessed to have you guys come into my life!? I am so incredibly happy for the both of you! You both are the kindest most sweetest people who have the biggest hearts, who love some adventure. You are constantly finding new ways to spread love and God’s word to others who are in need. I am beyond excited to watch the both of you do great things as a married couple and to watch that love legacy take roots. Take lots of pictures in Zimbabwe!! Have the best time!!
