They always say that the day following a storm can bring the most perfect day. That’s exactly what Alexis & Conner’s wedding day was, perfect. As I did a walk through the venue there was the slightest breeze of that Florida air and the birds were chirping. The sky was bright blue with the most gorgeous puffy clouds. When I entered into the bridal suite, I was immediately greeted by Alexis and her beautiful smile. I knew that today was going to be amazing.

If you don’t know already, Alexis & Conner are high school sweethearts! It is very rare now a days to see that kind of couple. The couple that go can the distance. The couple that can beat the odds and prove all the people wrong when they were told it was just puppy love. That when they left to go onto schooling they would fall a part. Conner knew that losing Alexis was NOT an option. So here they are 6 (maybe 7 I can’t remember if it has been another year already LOL) years later celebrating their love story.

When I look at Alexis, I see someone with a kind heart and someone who is strong. A woman who knows what she wants a goes for it full heartedly. Someone who knows how important family is. She is independent, but at the end of the day comes home to her other half, her best friend. Conner keeps her on her toes at all times LOL. He is passionate, and understanding. He is a man that consistently looks for ways to show how much his bride means to him. He makes sure to put a smile on her face, everyday. He is her rock. He is an #AKgroom.

I knew that the first time I saw Alexis’s name come across my email that you guys were going to be something special. You two went against the odds and proved everyone wrong. You showed that when you find your other half and go through life together, that you can conquer anything and will be able to get through anything life throws your way. Thank you for allowing me to share these special moments with you guys. You two hold a special place in my heart, and I just can not wait to see your family and love legacy grow!
