It was the warmest day of the month, there was slight breeze that allowed you to smell the salt water coming off the beach. As I met Stacey in the morning she was very calm and relaxed. You know why? Because she is marrying her best friend today.  With her make up just finishing up and mimosa in hand, she began to tell me how excited she was and that she couldn’t believe the day was here. If you don’t remember their love story, it all began with a camel. Yep you read that right! They both ran away with the circus and found their sole mate. It’s like their story is from a childhood book that you would read and dream of as a kid. The two of them are such gentle souls and some of the kindest people you will ever meet. I’m actually shocked sometimes that they put up with my crazy antics LOL.

For anyone that doesn’t know them, you should know that Steve loves nothing more than to make Stacey happy. Every time I would ask him a detail about the wedding, his response would be “What ever makes her happy. I just want to see her smile.” And that loves, is what being in love is all about. Not the money, the politics or materialistic things. It’s about those giggles and laughs where you aren’t able to catch your breath. The times where you are spent with each other  just living in the moment and getting lost in each other eyes.

So thank you, Steve and Stacey for falling in love. Actually thank you Steve for getting kicked in the shin by a camel LOL. But seriously…first came your engagement and then you became an #AKcouple and being an #AKcouple is so much more than just all those pretty pictures. It’s about being in love with your best friend. It is knowing that no matter what life holds in front of you that you can conquer anything when you have each other. Knowing that you are creating a legacy of your love and cherishing moments with each other and your friends and family. Because the experiences and memories are what matter most.

Stacey & Steve, thank you for being the best #AKcouple ever! Both of you fit so perfectly into what makes my couples amazing and what they stand for. I will never get tired of seeing the two of you laugh with each other. Even if it is just because you guys feel awkward taking pictures LOL. Which by the way I am pretty sure I did not hear you guys say that at all on your wedding day! Basically pros now LOL. I can not wait to see what the future holds for the both of you. I was so honored to have been able to meet both of your families. To see everyone come together to celebrate your love legacy. Let’s get together soon!
