The last couple of months have been an extremely hard and a weird time, especially for the couples that were planning their dream weddings. During the shutdown of covid in the early spring it forced Rebecca & Jason to postpone their rooftop terrace wedding. I remember her messaging me telling me that they were having to move their date. Even with everything going on they were still very excited and positive about the situation. Sadly as three months rolled by she texted me again saying that it was their guests best interest to postpone one more time. They decided to move forward with a small intimate wedding with just their immediate family and bridal party because they were ready to celebrate their love and officially become husband and wife.

You see, love is never cancelled. As much as they wanted all their friends and family there to celebrate with them, they decided that it was best to wait till they knew that everyone was able to make it and going to be safe. They will be able to have their big dream wedding in the next yr but in the meantime finally being able to be married to each other. Because, at the end of the day their love will go the distance and it didn’t matter how they said their “I do’s” as long as they got to.

This has been a difficult time for you guys, but I am so glad that we were finally be able to celebrate together even if it wasn’t exactly how you planned. I look at you guys and your love is so pure and you never take it for granted. I’m so honored and blessed that you chose me to capture you special day not once but twice! I am already counting down the days till your big day next yr, but enjoy every minute of this next year of being married because it will go by so fast! Talk to you guys soon!! xoxo
