Spring Lakeside Wedding| Orlando, FL

As my alarm went off, I could hear in the distance thunder and the sounds of rain beating against the windows. I had been watching the weather for the past couple of days and knew that this could have been a possibility. I started to load up my camera gear and as I looked up in the sky, I could see the most beautiful ray of sun shining through the clouds. In that moment, I knew that it was about to be a perfect day for a wedding.

April 18th was the day that Tu & Matt have been planning for months. The day where they were going to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family. What was happening in the world was something that no one could have ever predicted and could have never foreseen that it could ruin what was suppose to be the best day of their lives. Most of their friends and family were flying in from other states and as each day went by the idea of postponing their wedding became more real.

Even though the world has been put on hold your love and relationship is never cancelled and Tu & Matt decided that they still wanted to celebrate with a small ceremony and do a virtual wedding with their friends and family. They found the perfect location close to their home where they could have their intimate lakeside wedding. As Tu walked down the aisle with her pup Orea, close to a hundred people were online cheering on their love from afar. The amount of love and support they received made it SO special, because being an #AKCouple means that their family and friends mean everything to them. So even though they couldn’t be there in person, seeing everyone show up for them was priceless.

Tu & Matt,

This last month has been a whirlwind with trying to plan around covid-19. I truly believe in that things happen for a reason, and as we saw the storm that started on your wedding day, which would have ruined the brunch wedding plans, your little ceremony was special in every way! I am so happy that we were able to make your wedding day special for you, because the two of you deserve it. Your relationship goes much deeper than what’s on the surface, and I love how you keep each other grounded. This is just the beginning of a new chapter in your story, and I can’t wait to see where it takes you! Now onto the party!! xoxo

With Love,

Alexis
